The aim 
To analyse domains, constructs and drivers of responsiveness and professionalism among providers of midwifery care. This will be achieved by engaging with women, communities and service providers in interviews, group discussions and observations. Analysis will aim to describe maternity care processes, patient-provider interactions and how decisions are made in the multi-disciplinary and gender-mixed maternity teams. Combined, these findings will inform the co-design and implementation of the ALERT intervention.
