ALERT – Action Leveraging Evidence to reduce perinatal Mortality and morbidity in Sub-Saharan Africa

The annual ALERT Consoritum meeting took place March 12-15, this year in dar es Salaam, Tanzania. All partners met for three intenese days to share results and updates from our work packages, develop academic articles, dissemination plans and much more.

The consortium ended with a stakholder meeting. PI Claudia Hanson, country PI Andrea Pembe and Hussein Kidanto started off with an overview of the project, followed by brief updates on challanges and success stories from each country Benin, Malawi, Tanzania and Uganda.

The meeting ended with roundtable discussions with representatives from the Ministry of Health and other stakeholder.
