Dingase Kumwenda, MSc

Bio: I was born on 4 June 1991 in northern Malawi. I completed my secondary education in 2006 at a cathoilic secondary school in Mzuzu city. I undertook my undergraduate medical training at the then College of Medicine (now Kamuzu University of Health Sciences). Following my graduation in 2012, I did my internship at Kamuzu Central Hospital, a referral center in the capital city of Malawi. From 2014 to 2016, I served as a district medical officer at Nsanje district hospital, a rural area with many primary facilities in hard to reach areas and prone to flooding. In 2015 I joined a clinical postgraduate training program in Obstetrics and gynaecology and graduated in 2019. Currently am working at Chatinkha maternity unit as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist. Apart from clinical work, i participate in morbidity and mortality audits, teach undergraduate students and unit adminstrative duties.
